Draw What You See: The Life and Art of Benny Andrews (Clarion Books of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Boston and New York, 2015) is a new picture book written by prominent children’s book author Kathleen Benson that illustrates Benny Andrews’ profound career as an artist using the artist’s own paintings. On Saturday February 7, 2015, Michael Rosenfeld Gallery and The Bank Street Center for Children’s Literature will present a celebration of this book’s release by hosting a booksigning and afternoon tea party with Kathleen Benson. The event will run from 2:00-4:00pm at the Michael Rosenfeld Gallery, 100 Eleventh Avenue @ 19th Street, New York City.
