Oklahoma where the art comes charging down the plain.
And the layers of paint sure smell sweet
When the Rhino Horn group comes to Oklahoma State.

The Rhino Horn Group swept through the Midwest in 1971 with an exhibition at Oklahoma State’s Gardner Hall Art Gallery. This exhibition reflected the imagery from their first show at the New School. Although they didn’t completely win over the editor from the O’colly (who described the show as having a more subtle humanism than the artists are known for), the overall consensus was that it was “exciting” and vibrant.
