From the Archives: The White Catalog

The Rhino Horn group published three catalogs in the early 1970s using their personal funds and/or trading their artwork for printing and publishing. A friend of the artists by the name of Norman Shaifer owned a printing press and produced the first two catalogs for the group.  The first, an accompaniment to their inaugural exhibition at the New School aptly titled by the artists The White Catalog (1970), featured the group’s manifesto and an essay by art historian Stephen D. Pepper. These catalogs are very rare but now 45 years later they have been digitized and are available for your viewing. Click the image below for the PDF version of the White Catalog:
