Benny Andrews Day

Today is Benny Andrews (November 13, 1930 – November 10, 2006) day. In remembrance of the influential painter, collagist, teacher, and activist, here is a presentation titled “Artist to Artist: Reflections on a Life Together,” with the artist Nene Humphrey, who was Benny Andrews’ wife of 20 years, and faculty curator of African American Collections and Assistant Professor of African American Studies at Emory University, Pellom McDaniels III, discussing Andrews’ art.
